I would like to share my observations on drug abuse.Drug abuse is a serious threat disturbing our modern society. It has become a trend today to indulge in drugs. Teenagers are the main victims of this menace. Drug addiction negatively affect on the mental and physical health of the individual.
It's sure that drug abuse is a serious curse facing the Indian society today. It has spread like a cancer in our culture than any other social evils. Our young generation is very much addicted to this and become the victims of loneliness and depression. It makes the people unfit in every aspects of life. Drug addicts lose money and health. One who is addicted to it cannot do without it. They lose the joy of life. They often pilfer money from house. Sometimes they seek it by unlawful means. Drug-consumption leads to violence in the society.
In order to eradicate this menace, we have to take some necessary steps immediately. Our children should be given proper awareness against drug abuse. The young generation must say 'No' to drugs. Otherwise, we'll lose our generation. It'll lead to the total destruction of our beautiful planet.
