Child Labour : A Curse of Society

I would like to share my observations on Child Labour. Children are the gifts of God. It is our duty to protect each child and mould him/her as an ideal citizen. If guided well, they can lead the future. Nowadays, we can see that many children are directed to forced labour. It may be begging on the streets or working on a construction site or elsewhere.
Children are the future promise of the nation. India celebrates Children's Day on November 14 every year. A day to raise awareness about children's rights, education and welfare. But when instead of helping them discover themselves, they are directed to labour it indirectly affects the growth of the country. We should provide them enough space to play, and to learn. But with child labour, this all is just a dream.
Government has implemented many laws to protect the rights of children. Eg- The right to education act, etc. But still, we can see that many children are denied education and forced to do labour. Child labour is indeed a curse. We should eradicate this evil from our society. In order to do so, we all need to come together. We need to take immediate actions. We need to stop wherever child labours are working. We need to provide the children education and food. Thereby they need not to go for work. Actions speak louder than work. If determined, Even one person can make a change.
